Description

After seeing the amount of dusty nebulosity around the Iris Nebula, I thought I would try pointing the RedCat51 at the Fireworks Galaxy, which is in a similar region of the sky, to see if I could pick up a stark contrast between the dark dust and the bright spiral galaxy.  Space, it seems, does not disappoint!

Here is NGC 6946, the Fireworks Galaxy, presented in the greater context of the great void.  I hope you enjoy!
