Description

IC 4932 a tiny but bright planetary nebula in southern Hercules.

There is 5-6 other images on Astrobin including this nice one by Gary with more information.

Gary's Version

Size according to the list below the diameter is 12 arc" and magnitude 12.0.

It is worth noting that this is bright for the class and I did not use the Super-L for detail (adding all color subs together). That worked great on the Hidden Galaxy which is very dull. With the Super-L the center on this was truly blown out.

>>>> GENERAL INFORMATION ON BRIGHT PLANETARY NEBULAE:

I have a list of the 100 brightest PNs and am brainlessly going down the list (along with the rest of the Abells). I am just entering them in Expert Scheduler and it does the work.

These are so bright they do not require much imaging time. The list is on:

100 Brightest Planetary Nebulae

My own PN collection is here:

Planetary Nebula (Abell)

The Abells are sorted by number and behind the Abell's are other miscellaneous PNs that I have imaged.

Gary Imm has a wonderful list of PN morphologies:
