Description

This is a wide-field image of our milkyway galaxy core showing two prominent pinkish regions of nebulosity, one is Trifid Nebula (left) and the other is Lagoon (Right). These two regions are active star formation regions near our galaxy core and can be easily observed with even a small telescope. The background area shows the dusty regions which surrounds our milkyway galaxy core. Also in the picture are several star clusters but the notable one is M21 open cluster (below Trifid Nebula)
