Description

Trying out the iOptron ZEQ25GT. Far more portable than the CGEM, and since I have to travel to do any imaging and my imaging set-up consists of a Carbon-fiber telescope and a lightweight CCD camera, there really is no need for a tank of a mount. The Z is a heck of a lot easier to set-up and get polar-aligned - it's actually really fun to use and seems to be the perfect mount for me.

At the moment, the mount seems to have a problem with the RA worm assembly, there is a "excursion" that happens every 10 minutes. iOptron tech support has been helping me with the issue, but I'm confident that once this is resolved the mount is definitely a keeper!
