Description

This was taken on Solstice Day so we (Flamstead Society) gathered at Blackheath Common for a Solar Observation event and were treated to some nice sunspots and this prominence started off hanging off a "thread" and soon detached through our session. It was a nice show and I couldnt resist quickly attaching my dslr to capture a short video of it and the resume entertaining visitors the view through my PST.
