Description

Full resolution single shot with Canon 60D at 1/2500sec at ISO 400. The jpeg from the camera was slightly lightened in ArcSoft to better see the craters in the terminator, and then cropped.

Image C: The raw image was converted from the raw CR2 file to TIF using Canon's DPP. The TIF was processed in StarTools using Wavelet Sharpen with Large Structure Size, Scale 2 set to 100 percent and then increased to 1000% using the Amount field. Without increasing the amount to 1000% the amount of sharpening is very slight but with it it is very crisp and makes very faint mushy craters stand out. I also used StarTools Color module to oversaturate the colors to the maximum amount.
