Description

My image of the Omega Centauri Globular Cluster (NGC 5139). I framed it so that I could include Centaurus A (NGC 5128) and NGC 4945 (or C91) in the frame. Definetely the best cluster I've ever seeing. Very good in binoculars (7x50) and simply astonishing at medium power (I used my Newtonian 150/1000 with a 15mm 60º afov Starguider Ocular). However, many observers, from the Northern Hemisphere simply can't see this object. I think it is worth to try to see it. You've never seen a Globular Cluster, if you haven't seen Omega Centari! This image is only 13,5 minutes, at 150mm. For the cluster, a bit more of data would be welcome. As for the galaxies, it would be far better if I had more time of data, perhaps 30min. Taken from Rural skies, 22ºS, MG, Brazil. Thanks for seeing.
