Description

Early this year I bought a new refractor, a 130mm F/7 triplet apo with a 0.79 reducer, which gives me a focal length of 719 mm and a ratio of F/5.53.

It took some time before I got a chance for my first light, but here it is: One of my fafourites, the Orion Nebula M42.

I am still looking for my concept of astronomical picture processing and M42 is not easy (for me), but I like this one, I hope you do too.

Sorry, I didn't know how to put in the data correctly. My exposures were:

5 x 5 seconds

5 x 20 seconds

and 5 x 60 seconds, makes a total of 7min 5 sec.

Also I have used my reducer and the focal length was 719 mm.
