Description

The Jellyfish Nebula is a Galactic supernova remnant in the constellation Gemini, the remains of a supernova that occurred between 3,000 and 30,000 years ago.

In the same field Sh 2 - 249 an HII region north of μ Geminorum,

VdB 75 a reflection nebula around giant star 12 Geminorum

and four asteroids (16-17 mag): Michelcombes, Lobachevskij, Whitaker and 1999 VX2
