Description

The open star cluster NGC 6633 in the constellation Ophiuchus contains just a few dozen stars. At a distance of only 1,000 light years it is relatively close to our solar system. It is a small grouping of hot, young stars. (Source: Caltech)

This cluster is nearly as large as the full moon, and shines at a magnitude of 4.6; the brightest star is magnitude 7.6. Its age was estimated at 660 million years. (Source: Wikipedia)
