Description

First light for my new IDAS LPS-D1 filter. Seems to work well. Instead of a a very pink to red color cast of background space in longer exposures I now get a light blueish or teal color which is easier to deal with in processing. Contrast also seems to be improved. Without the filter 600 second subs would have wild gradients, with the filter barely any gradient and it is easily dealt with. Not cheap at $189 but it allows me to now image to the East which had previously been a "no go zone" duo to light pollution.
