Description

Messier 71 is a very loose globular cluster in the constellation Sagitta, which lies in an exceptionally rich star field. Though this cluster was once debated to be a rich open cluster, spectral analysis of its member stars ultimately revealed that it is a loose globular, despite its lack of the RR Lyrae variables that are found in most globulars.

The "B" revision has better star definition in the cluster and a less aggressive stretch. I think the original was stretched too aggressively because I had my monitor brightness turned down when I processed it.
