Description

This globular is in the Constellation Hercules and has 300,000 stars in it. This image is an enlargement of it and shows the various different types of stars in the forming region as you can see blue young stars forming as well as yellow stars and white stars in the cluster.

This is from a single 45 second image at ISO 800 and is my first image taken with my new RA worm gear installed from Ovision. The improvement in round stars is very noticeable on my mount and made a significant improvement on my unguided imaging.

Double click on the image and then you will see an enlarged image of M13 and then try zooming in with your mouse and then you will be able to see the individual star colors and star detail.
