This one I guess you know.

The image is a composite of 268 different Creative Commons images, from 97 amateur astronomers with different telescopes.

It is not possible to calculate the exact amount of exposure on these images, but a rough estimate on this one is close to 1000 hours (based on 50 samples).

With this image, I'm afraid I underestimated the resolution, and twice the resolution should be possible. I'll try again when I get the time, but especially aligning all images is very time consuming (days of rendering).

I also think, I perhaps went a little bit to far with LocalHistogramTransform, but LHT brings out details that are interesting.
