Description

Crater Pitiscus (near bottom), Crater Riccius (upper right), Crater Dove midway between the previous two, Crater Lockyer on the right lower edge, and many other craters covered with rays from Tycho (not visible) to the left. North is up. I noticed there is also a Martian crater named Lockyer.

Imaged with AT8IN, Canon 60D DSLR, and a Vivatar 3x teleconverter. Captured a movie clip in 640x480 center movie crop mode, processed with AutoStakkert in Drizzle 3x mode. This image is the triple sized drizzle image to make details easy to see on computer monitor.

The 200 frames were the best 10% of approximately 2000 frames.
