Description

NGC7000 in R(.8*SII + .2*HA), G(HA), B (OIII). The North American Nebula is readily visible in the tip of the constellation Cygnus near the star Deneb. In addition to NGC7000, this 8 panel mosaic also has the Pelican Nebula and the 'Wall' which forms what is Mexico and California. The object spans nearly 50 light years and is roughly 1,800 light years from us. It took every clear night from July through the middle of September to complete it.
