Description

I had not heard of this object before. The night I was imaging Pickering's Triangle I happened upon this object during my alignment procedure. When I chose Mirach as one of the alignment stars I was surprised to notice this little smudge near the star on my screen. After looking the object up (No, I didn't think I had discovered a new comet that bright!) I decided to take some quick shots of it knowing that Mirach was going to simply blow out from any exposures over a second or two, but wanted a record of this one. Come to find out there aren't a lot of images to compare to on this one so I may add chrominance some night with some brief exposures with my OSC.
