Description

LBN777(the Baby Eagle Nebula) and the surrounding molecular cloud. There is a small spiral galaxy (IC359) near the top. Old C8 (fastar)+Hyperstar 3+ SXVR M25c; 5min x 120; 2min x 60; Original blue halos below the bright blue stars (Schmidt ghosts) have been edited out using Photoshop. Shot through haze, smoke, and thin clouds over two nights at Grandview Campground, Inyo, around Octoberr 2014 new moon. The elongated, two "stars" in the middle low part of the frame seem to be an asteroid. They are probably the same object because the image was taken over two nights (~6hrs each), and there was 1 day between them (hence the gap).
