Description

I find M31 fascinating to look at and although its already quite visible with the naked eye, i find it quite hard to image properly. I took exposures with three integration times to capture the dynamic range of the object. The exposures were blended in Photoshop because for some reason i can`t get good results in DSS HDR mode. I had to do a meridian flip during the imaging process and forgot to also flip the camera ... This is why the final image doesn`t contain all of M31. I also would prefer a little bit of space around the galaxy. Will have to try again at some point.
Edit: Uploaded a newer version in which i decreased star diameter/enhanced local contrast and added faint diffraction spikes to smaller stars.
