IC 4601 in Scorpius


IC 4601 includes reflection nebulae Van Den Bergh 101 (lower right of center). Distance from earth to the associated VDB101 star is about 490 light years. While the Van Den Bergh 102's (blue nebula at center) lower right star is about 520 light years distant. Imaged at Grandview over four nights in April 2014.
