Description

The Soap Bubble PN G75.5+1.7 in Cygnus is a planetary nebula that was discovered by amateur astronomer Dave Jurasevich in 2008. The reasons it was not discovered until recently are given as its faintness and the fact that it is embedded in a diffuse nebula. It is a distance of 4000 light years and 5 light years in diameter.
