Description

NGC 7789 is an open cluster in the constellation of Cassiopeia. Often called the White Rose, or Caroline's Rose in honor of its discoverer Caroline Herschel. At 8,000 light-years away, and around 1.6 billion years old, it is starting to show its age as many of the more massive stars have started entering their red giant phase.
