Description

I wanted to upload this image so others can see the difference between an APO telescope and an Achromat telescope. The Celestron is a good scope for visual use, but is a poor imaging scope. Chromatic Aberration is pervasive. Other than the scope, everything else is roughly the same. Same mount, same camera, I believe roughly the same number of exposures and same duration for each exposure. VASTLY different results.

I imaged Orion with my TSA-102S to compare to this image take with the Celestron achromat.
