Description

A two panel mosaic of the dense star clouds extending from the ghostly filaments of Sh2-240 on the far left, to IC443&4, Propus, and Mu Geminorum on the far right. Included in the field are: M1 (the oblong "star" in the upper left) , Sh2-241 (bright object to the right of 240), 242 (bottom center) and 247 (top right), clusters M35 and NGC2158 (neither are done justice at this plate scale), and the "Jellyfish" complex, IC443 and 444.
