Description

A nebula of interesting complexity at this plate scale. I used shorter (15min) exposures to avoid blooming of the bright central stars. The dark feature strikes me as a fissure in space, leading to who knows where, making it a somewhat forbidding object. DDP stretch and unsharp mask in Maxim.
