Description

The weather here has been pretty bad lately for astrophotography—I've only had 1-2 nights in the past month with clear skies... so when it was clear last night I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to capture this comet nearing its closest approach. Unfortunately for myself as well as everyone else, this also coincided with an almost full moon... which made processing this image extremely difficult.
