Pubblico questa foto per spiegare le pessime condizioni di ripresa alle quali mi sottopongo...

centro città (200.000 abitanti), con cielo praticamente bianco, 2 lampioni a 20 metri uno per ciascun lato, pavimento di porfido che emana calore d'estate, a ridosso di un muro (idem), con i palazzi che mi tarpano in gran parte la vista al punto che posso riprendere oggetti quasi solo al meridiano e pure per poco tempo... Non vedo il Nord nè l'Est e nemmeno l'Ovest, ma solo il Sud.

Posso riprendere un oggetto solo per 2 ore per notte, nei casi più fortunati 3...

Potete immaginare il già scarso seeing come diventa. Per non parlare dell'IL o del gradiente!

La sera farei meglio a dormire... e invece!

Ogni piccola foto che faccio, per quanto modesta, per me è una conquista.

I put this photo to explain the poor shooting conditions to which I have to face each time.

From center city ( 200,000 inhabitants ) , with the sky almost white , 2 street lamps at 20 meters one from each side , pavement of stone that gives off heat in the summer , in the shelter of a wall, with buildings that cut off the view so I can shoot objects almost only at the meridian and also for a short time ... I don't see the North, East and West... only the South is visible.

I can track an object for about 2 or 3 hours per nights in the best situation!

You can imagine how the already poor seeing, how it becomes. And better to dont speak of LP or the gradient.

It would be better for me to sleep at night... but !

Each shoot i can take, doesn't matter how humble is it, it gives me a little bit of joy

Submitted The date and time when you submitted this image for IOTD/TP consideration.	...
Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
