Description

This is a view of M-8 showing in some details the its delicate structures in LRGB.

M-8 is located in Sagittarius constellation and is just a small part of the giant molecular gas cloud that lies behind it.

M-8 is distant from Solar System by 5.000 Light Years.

I did this image 2 years ago and forgot to process it, what I did over the last weekend.

As such I don't recall any data about it, but I think I used my former LX200 @f/6.3 and a ST8300C.

A note of ** REV.2 **

The image has een reprocessed aiming the ruduction of the stars and a more natural color saturation. This time I used Pixinsight for this reprocessing.
