After the failed attempt made in December described in my Missed! picture I finally managed to catch this elusive nebula: IC 2118 The Witch Head Nebula.

Despite the quite long exposure, the S/N ratio is lower than I expected due to the strong light pollution.
I suspect that this is the maximum that I can ask to my sky with this setup.

Dopo il fallimento del tentativo fatto in dicembre e descritto nella mia immagine Missed!, finalmente sono riuscito a riprendere questa elusiva nebulosa: IC 2118 La Nebulosa Testa di strega.

Nonostante l'esposizione piuttosto lunga, il rapporto S / N è inferiore a quello che mi aspettavo probabilmente a causa del forte inquinamento luminoso.
Ho il sospetto che questo sia il massimo che posso chiedere al cielo nostrano con questo setup.
