Comet Lovejoy with 300 mm APO telephoto lens and Canon 6D. In the b/w 200% zoom is clearly visible the curved dust tail and several straight ion tails. Image is cropped about 2/3 of the original size. 40 x 4' exposures guiding on comet nucleus.

La cometa Lovejoy il 23 gennaio 2015, con un tele da 300 mm e Canon 6D. Nell'ingrandimento in bianco e nero si vede chiaramente la coda di polveri (curva) e numerose code di ioni, rettilinee. Crop (circa 2/3) dell'immagine originale. 40 immagini da 4' guidate sul nucleo della cometa.
