Description

The Incredible east region of Mare Frigoris

In this photo large angle of the eastern part of the Mare Frigoris, this region that has great merit formations such as craters, Aristoteles, Eudoxus and Burg among others, what really caught my attention was a so-called training "Pyroclastic Eastern Mare Frigoris West" .

For those who are not used to research and deeper observations, she probably would even unnoticed.

See that my idea here is just to draw attention to those formations that may not be as impactful as the aforementioned craters, but can generate research of great interest.

A place with pyroclasticos deposits automatically is a place where there was a great volcanic activity, is a place where we suspect or have Domes Volcanic Summits. Of course this is only an assumption, nothing really guarantee that these Domes or Summits really exist.

However this is how you start a new research and perhaps in the future a new discovery. From the mistrust, we have to seek information about the area. Often is ready what one suspects there, but sometimes no exact information is found and must deepen our research.

In this particular photo, I raised the question of the existence of Domes in the region, could not find anything to confirm my suspicion, but this does not mean that these Domes or Summits are not there, because the Moon is a world that still keeps many secrets, many things to be discovered.

What's left me to do was to analyze the background images provided by QuickMap, this map provided by LROC NASA spacecraft. In these images that are attached just below my photo I circled in yellow what appears to be in the form of what I hope to find. Even elsewhere in the photo of LROC around that circulated, there are formations that strongly resemble the appearance of domes. But notice that it is a simple supposition, not yet having no confirmation that they are really the Domes and Summits I suppose that may exist there.

Many would ask:

"But if we are not sure if we can not prove, that worth getting researching and writing about it?"

To which I would respond:

"If someone does not hypothesize, not to attract attention, to play down the issue, as others may one day prove or disprove this suspicion?"

This is how we begin to discover something new!
