Description

Reiner Gamma is a flat albedo feature on Oceanus Procellarum, west from crater Reiner (bottom). Its origin isn't known for sure. Other similar features found on the far side suggest it could have been created by a great impact on the other opposite side of the Moon. Crater Tsiolkovsky is a candidate for that.
