Description

Having trouble finding Lovejoy in the image? Use this: http://i.imgur.com/HJJJ2ex.jpg

I re-visited Jankovac on Papuk mountain, and decided to take images of the starry sky. I wanted to take images of the Andromeda Galaxy, but for some reason, i completely forgot that the comet Lovejoy is still visible in the sky. That said, I accidentally captured it together with Andromeda Galaxy and Milky Way.

Camera: Nikon D7100

Lens: Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X 116 Pro 2 DX

Mount: Ordinary Tripod

Focal Length: 11mm

Aperture: f/2.8

Exposure: 3'15'' (Stacked 13x 15'')

ISO: 2000

Frames

Light: 13

Dark: 0

Bias: 0

Flat: 0

Light Pollution: Minimal, top of a mountain outside of civilisation.

Notes: The photos ended up quite blurry, no matter how much I tried to focus the lens. For some reason, I was unable to find the exact focus point. The lens also seem to have an issue of highly blurring towards the edge of the frame. The final image was heavily cropped to minimize issues.
