Foto scattata con il rifrattore Meade 5000 80mm D 480mm F f/6, con spianatore di campo, principalmente per metterla in relazione allo stesso soggetto ripreso qualche giorno fa con il rumak Intes M500 127mm D 1270mm F f/10 senza spianatore.

L'immagine croppata, scopo del confronto, l'ho messa come foto 'b'; tuttavia ho reso principale quella originale non croppata perchè mi piace molto il campo esteso del rifrattore, specialmente a piena risoluzione.

Peraltro non noto molta differenza fra aver ripreso 20 minuti a f/6, o 156 minuti a f/10; credo dipenda parecchio dal tipo di soggetto piuttosto che dalla diversa velocità.

Seeing: index1 "4", index2 "3", medio.

Photo taken with 80mm refractor Meade 5000 D F 480mm f / 6 , with field flattener , mainly to put it in relation to the same subject taken a few days ago with the rumak Intes M500 127mm D F 1270mm f / 10 without flattener .

The cropped image , the purpose of comparison , I put pictures as ' b ' ; However, I made the original principal not cropped because I like the wide field of the refractor, expecially if seen at full resolution.

However, i did not notice too much difference between having taken 20 minutes at f / 6 , or 156 minutes at f / 10 ; I think it depends on the type of subject rather than by the different f/x.

Seeing: index1 "4", index2 "3", medium.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
