Interactions gravitationnelles entre M81, M82 et NGC3077.
Mixage d'une image en ondes radio HI du VLA (http://images.nrao.edu/116) et d'une image personnelle (http://astrob.in/155035/G/) de 2h de pose avec une TSA102 et APN.
Aucune interaction n'est apparente en lumière visible. En revanche, l'image radio met clairement en évidence que des "ponts de matière" (en l'occurence l'hydrogène atomique) sont présents entre les différentes galaxies sous forme de filaments. Le gaz présent en périphérie des galaxies est déplacé le long de ces filaments.
Les galaxies naines Arp-Loop et Holmberg IX complètent ce système complexe d'interactions gravitationnelles.
Attention, il s'agit bien de l'image radio et pas de l'IFN qui est visible avec un temps de pose plus long sur d'autres clichés. La superposition des images IFN et radio montre bien que ces nuages de gaz sont d'une nature distincte de ceux en jeu dans le cadre des interractions gravitationnelles.
