Description

HαRRGB combination of 22 Mar 2014 RGB and 24 Feb 2015 Hα. The R channel is 90% Hα, and this mix was also used for luminance. The original RGB stars were layered back onto most of the image with a layer mask showing the HαRRGB nebula. Finally, the blue stars that showed through the mask were desaturated.
