My "workhorse" Telescope

Description

My "workhorse" Telescope for winter times

Meade LX200 GPS SMT 8" on wedge with autoguiding assembly installed
The autoguiding setup includes an old Meade ETX 70 ( 350 mm) OTA, mounted piggyback on
the LX200 OTA.
This mounting looks a bit clumsy, but it does the job perfectly.
( in the meantime, I mounted it a bit more rigidly )

The guiding cam is a Meade DSI PRO II and I use the Meade "Envisage" Software for guiding.

The big advantage of this old ETX70 OTA is the possibiltiy to flip between guide cam and okular in order to visibly inspect the guiding area.
