Description

Due to this admin event :-)

I updated this entry again.

My main scope for taking near field pictures is the LX200ACF GPS 16" F10 scope, reduced to F6.2 using the Lepus 0.62X reducer.

In the past the Atik 460ex mono camera was connected to the 16" scope.

On-top of the 16" scope is mounted the WO FLT-110 F7 widefield scope, which was connected to a Canon 60Da camera.

For guiding, I use the Individual ED70 scope connected to an SBIG ST-i camera. No flex issues between guide scope and main scopes observed yet.

I have changed the guide camera to a Starlight Xpress model, i.e. Lodestar X2 version.

Then I changed the camera type on the 16" SCT to the ZWO asi1600MM CMOS cool type together with seven 36mm Baader filters which are placed in a seven position filter wheel.

The Atik 460ex CCD mono camera is now used on the WO FLT-110 scope setup which also use a seven position filter wheel mounted with seven 1.25" filters.

The shown equipment is housed in a homemade observatorie, which is located in my garden, less than 10km from the citycenter of Copenhagen Denmark.

In Oct/Nov-2017, I was selected as beta tester on the Atik Horizon CMOS camera which was/is supported by a filter wheel that contain 36mm LRGB and HaOIIISII Baader filters. This setup is now used on the 16" SCT scope.

The TV NP127is/TTS-160 Panther portable setup use for now the ZWO CMOS camera configuration,
