Description

We finally had a mostly clear night with "average" seeing in Eastern Missouri. Here, our seeing forecast is typically "Below Average" or "Poor". There was the typical high-level haze moving in from the Great Lakes area, but I got setup before it became too bad. Actualy did my Jupiter shots first, then the moon photos.

I am really enjoying my Explore Scientific 2x Focal Extender. It produces images both visually and photographically that are very bright as compared to my old (cheap) Barlow. For $79, this was a great investment.

This is a stack of the best 1000 frames of 2000. Exposure was 3.725 ms, with gain of 31. SER file format used in FireCapture. Stacking and Sharpening done in Registax. Brightness increased in PixInsight via a slight adjustment of the white point.

Thanks for looking!
