Description

NGC 6193 is open cluster containing 27 stars in the constellation Ara, visible to the unaided eye. The cluster is associated with (and provides the energizing radiation for) neighboring regions of the nebulosity NGC 6188. Image by Tristan and Alek of the Plymouth Community Intermediate School, Plymouth, MA, as part of the "Summer Milky Way Project" 6th grade students participated in at the school.
