Edoardo Radice convinced me to "feed" PixInisght with ALL the 40 frames. He later added some Halpha shots he took from the terrible sky of his house (Bortle 7) using a 110mm refractor and mixed them all... the cocktail does it look good to me! BRAVO EDOARDO!

M101 ripresa col mio ODK da 30 cm e Canon 6D non modificata. Notte davvero complicata, con problemi al focheggiatore, poi di umidità, poi è sorta la Luna... temevo di poter tenere solo 14 scatti su 40, ma poi il mitico
Edoardo Radice mi ha convinto a darli tutti "in pasto" a PixInisght, che con tenacia computeresca ha preso il possibile da ogni file (ci è voluto un tempo geologico). Il risultato era già buono, ma Edoardo ci ha aggiunto una sua vecchia ripresa Halfa fatta con un WO APO da 110 mm e voilà! sono apparse anche le regioni HII. Alla fine l'immagine mi pare davvero bella per le condizioni. Insomma, una collaborazione tra due telescopi, una DLSR e un CCD e due amici. Con l'ausilio della galassia, ovviamente! :-) Tutti i complimenti a Edoardo, fautore della complessa elaborazione.
