Description

When initially planning for this shot, I realized that I could fit both M98 and M99 in the same field of view with a single shot. Upon further consideration, however, I discovered the two additional galaxies that were worth photographing, and decided to do a two-panel mosaic.

This final "ultra wide screen" panorama of this area of the Coma Berenices constellation includes:

Spiral Galaxy M98 (Far Right)

Spiral Galaxy M99 (Middle Bottom)

Spiral Galaxy NGC4298 and Edge-On Spiral NGC4302 (Far Left)

Looking at this field of view at higher magnification reveals countless additional galaxies as well. Enjoy!
