Description

This is the first light of my new setup made up by a Quattro CF 10, a 10 inch Newtonion f/4, and a AZ-EQ-6 equatorial mount.

After several attemps to have this scope collimated, I found an ideal and consistent way to do it, mixing several exellent ideas posted in the net. I will prepar a video showing how I got my scope collimated and the star test result under the stars. I am happy in this matter.

Another pleasant surprise was the smoothness of the EZ-EQ-6 auto-guiding this scope. The graph of both axis stayed within 0.08px rms during the whole time of the capture.

The GPU Aplanatic Coma Corrector worked perfectly, given a field curvature of 16% !

Better yet, the capture times to have this image:

Ha: 4x600sec

L: 10x180sec

RGB: 5x180sec

So far I am really happy with each piece of this new setup, I hope this feeling remains like this.
