Description

A good seeing night, in between cold fronts, which for us here in southern Brazil, means clouds, nebulosity and rain.

Celestron SCT 11", f/30, ASI 174MM

This animation is the result of nearly 2 hours of captures, from 01:39 to 03:06 UT, in 2015/06/10.

Since the storm looks more contrasty in the > 610 nm wavelengths, used WinJupos to derotate 16 minutes of data for each of the 5 frames, combining Astronomik Red + Baader 610 nm longpass + Baader IR 685 nm filters, trying to show the dark center - more conspicuous in the 685 nm and 610 nm, and the bright preceding and trailing clouds, more evident in R.

Processing certainly could create some "features" here, but, doesn´t it looks like there is a "bridge" linking the 64N dark center with one of the vertices of the NPZ Hexagon?
