This is my image of this stunning region, right in the middle of the Southern part of the Milky Way. Several deep sky objects surrond this starfield, and from Bottom Left to Upper Right, memorable mentions include: the Dark Nebula "Southern Coalsack", right below Crux; Jewel Box Cluster; Lambda Centauri Nebula (in the center); C91 (NGC 3532) and Finally Eta Carinae or the Great Carina Nebula (NGC3372). In the bottom right corner you can see a beautiful open cluster, that is just stunning in binoculars, C102, or the so-called "Southern Pleiades". Several clusters and dark nebulae that would take pages of description are also in the field of view.

The image was taken on a beautiful night back in June, and features a mere 30' integration, which is a little bit on the short side for what I wanted, but the result came out as expected, and even better. The processing began in DSS, where all the subs were combined and darks/bias applied. Afterwards the most of the processing (95%) was made in Photoshop CS2, as in that time I still didn't have a CC subscription. Levels, Curves, Saturation, SMI, High Pass Filters and Star Shrinking were most of the corrections applied. Afterwars, a little bit curves and vibrance was added in the new-to-me Photoshop CC 2015, and final color tweaking/WB adjustment was done in LR CC.

This region was, to me, extremely diffuclt to process because of the intensity and quantity of stars, that just popped out everywhere, and difficulted the faint nebulosity to come out to our eyes. Several Minimum filters were applied in PS, perhaps a little bit too much.... the image was also very difficult to color balance and correct, to me at least. It still exibits a tiny green/yellow tint, that I will try to inprove in the future. But for now, I'm pleased with the results, especially for a non-modded APS-C sized camera. I hope you liked it. Constructive criticism and suggests are more than welcome.
