Description

North is to the right in this image. In this image, Sharpless 154 (also known as LBN 521 is the dominant emission nebula in the left side of the image. In the upper left corner is the open cluster NGC 7419; in the upper right corner is a small portion of Sharpless 155 - also known as the "Cave Nebula". Between Sharpless 154 and 155 is the blue reflection nebula vdB 154 also known as LBN 524. There are dark regions on the left and right in this image field. These dark nebulae are cataloged in the LDN, TGU and Dobashi catalogs. These objects as well as some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated image. Horizontal FOV is 120'
