Description

I love this area of the sky and I've been looking forward to doing some wide field imaging to see what I could pick up. Unfortunately, it was a rough night and everything that could go wrong did go wrong! I lost a huge batch of really good looking data by rotating my camera before taking flats (DOH!) Even my auto-guider died along the way. So, in desperation, I took a crack at the Crescent with the Hyperstar running unguided. The Hyperstar wasn't perfectly aligned and the guiding was a bit off. Still, I managed to pull 31 subs out of the batch and even thought the image quality isn't quite up to what I'm looking for, it's worth sharing. I hope you enjoy it. C&C is always welcome so feel free to let me know what you think.

John
