Description

This small open cluster is just 1 degree away from NGC 6888 (Crescent Nebula).  It is located 6000 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus at a declination of +38 degrees.  It is a magnitude 7.3 cluster with stars from the 8th to the 13th magnitude.

The cluster spans 4 arc-minutes in our apparent view.  This corresponds to a diameter of 6 light years.

Tracking was not great on this night due to the wind, so the stars have a bit of ovality to them.
