Description

Abell 21, the Medusa Nebula, is a fain nebula which was discovered in 1976. In its center a very hot blue star. Not too easy to get but without moon a good target in this time of the year. Taken with the newly launched AstCamPan AP533MC-Pro camera.

Title: Abell21 - Reprocessed

Description: This hopefully final version was processed differently - the stars had been removed prior to the processing of the nebula. The the stars had been diminished and reduced and both contents had been reunited to a combined final image. Like this, the stars appear less dominant, I think
