Description

I have wanted to shoot this region for a long time and finally was able to get it done this year. The Epsilon is a great choice for this due to its colors and it didn't disappoint. I was worried shooting LRGB mosaic (Gradients are a total killer ) and with the usual unstable weather at this time of the year, I wasn't sure I could get it done. However, There were few good nights to snag the data.

M78 on one side and Boogeyman on the other split by the Barnard's loop is just stunning and lots of pretty stars , not to mention to colorful open cluster NGC2112.   This is worth seeing in full resolution.

Total integration is about 45 hours.

Each panel has
L - 5 hours
R/G/B - 3 hours

QHY294 was shot in 11MB Mode with 1750 gain and 50 offset.

Learnt a few things from @Sendhil Chinnasamy   about PI's new stuff (Photometric Mosaic Merge) that rescued the color data merge!
